What is the biggest problem your clients have when recruiting?

My clients typically struggle with attracting the right top tier candidate and having them stay for the foreseeable future.

I solve this by finding the best candidates, not only ones that respond to an advert. I vet all candidates heavily to ensure they have the right technical and motivational fit for my clients which results in greater business impact and less turnover for their business.

I played semi-professional poker during university which has given me a solid income stream ever since.

What is the most important skill as a recruiter?

Listening and understanding both the candidate’s and client’s requirements is essential in order to place the right person in the right role. In addition, always deliver on your promises. That’s how you build trust and long term relationships with clients and candidates alike.
