On behalf of our client, a private bank based in Geneva, we are looking for an experienced Senior IT Systems and Network Administrator to enhance our vibrant IT team. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the seamless operation of our IT infrastructure, focusing on the stability, integrity, and efficiency of our systems.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Completed training in computer science (systems engineering or application development) or equivalent education/experience.
- A minimum of five years of professional experience, with at least two years in a similar role.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills and analytical thinking.
- Proficiency in English (both spoken and written); knowledge of French and Spanish is a plus.
Technical Leadership Skills:
- Provide technical direction and leadership to the IT infrastructure team, ensuring adherence to best practices and prompt resolution of technical issues.
- Oversee and manage IT infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
- In-depth knowledge of virtualization, networking, storage, and Windows system administration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft technologies: computers and servers, Active Directory & Group Policy, SCCM, Intune, and O365.
- Expertise in VMware: installation, configuration, and patching of vSphere.
- Experience with Citrix: XenApp/XenDesktop and Netscaler.
- Networking skills: Switching, Firewalling, Routing, F5 LTM & ASM, Forcepoint Web proxy.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for systems, configurations, and procedures.
