AVP Claims (D&O and EPL)

JCW is currently working on behalf of a specialty insurance provider looking to add a strong AVP of Claims with specific D&O and EPL experience. As we expand this company expands their presence in the U.S., this individual will provide support for Canadian claims initially and will transition to managing U.S. claims as the portfolio grows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the management of complex D&O and EPL claims, ensuring timely and equitable resolution.
• Collaborate with underwriting, legal, and risk management teams to mitigate exposure and maintain high service standards.
• Develop strategies to handle claims efficiently while balancing company interests and client satisfaction.
• Analyze claim trends and provide insights to inform underwriting and policy development.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in claims management, specifically within D&O and EPL lines.
• Proven expertise in handling complex claims in a specialty insurance environment.
• JD preferred but not required.
