As a Senior Compliance Officer, you will play a pivotal role in the dynamic environment, where you will have broad exposure to day-to-day compliance activities and ample opportunities for professional development. Reporting to the Head of Compliance Switzerland, you will be responsible for:
- Reviewing client files to assess compliance and client integrity risks, including KYC, AML/CFT, sanctions, bribery, and corruption, as well as client tax integrity.
- Serving as the main point of contact for Relationship Managers and internal stakeholders regarding compliance matters.
- Developing and implementing compliance controls within specified timelines, including documentation and escalation of findings.
- Developing and maintaining internal policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with group-level requirements.
- Contributing to Compliance training programs for employees.
Your Profile:
- A university degree in law, business administration, or a related field, Compliance certification is advantageous.
- At least 5 years of experience in compliance, risk management, and/or audit functions, preferably within Swiss Private Banking.
- Profound working knowledge of Swiss, Benelux and/or European regulations, including AML/CFT, FACTA/CRS, investment suitability, cross-border, market abuse, sustainability, and other compliance risks.
- Strong multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and collaboration skills.
- Fluency in German and English is essential, with proficiency in Dutch preferred.
