A global Geothermal Power Plant company in Germany who are pioneering in energy development within the renewable energy field are looking for lead process engineer.
Profile:
- Participation in safety evaluations, conceptual design, and plant layout
- You define the technical specifications and choose appropriate vendors when choosing and developing the components.
- You will be there when the facilities are put into operation at the delivery and manufacturing sites.
- You are going to create and keep up with the plant documentation.
- You assist in advising potential clients and reviewing the technical specifications.
- You'll collaborate with people from several disciplinary fields, including process engineering, design, process automation, and production/assembly.
Requirments:
- Professional Engineer registered with APEGA
- 5 – 10 years of related experience
- Experience with thermodynamic process modelling software such as UniSim, HYSYS, or VMG
- Experience designing, building, and operating process plants from an owner’s perspective is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Visio
- Knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and directives
- Knowledge of process instrumentation and control
- Programming experience (VBA, Python, R, or MATLAB) is an asset
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is an asset
- Proven analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent communication abilities (being multilingual is an asset)
- Willing to travel
