About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and highly strategic Program Manager to lead the development and execution of a multi-billion euro capital expenditure (CAPEX) construction project. This transformative project will replace traditional existing assets with hydrogen-powered technology, driving a significant shift towards renewable energy.

As Program Manager, you will be at the forefront of this ground breaking initiative, overseeing all aspects of the project from conception through to delivery. You will manage cross-functional teams, ensuring that all milestones are met on time, within budget, and in alignment with our sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of a complex, multi-year construction project with a focus on hydrogen power integration.
  • Oversee a large-scale CAPEX investment, ensuring optimal resource allocation and adherence to financial goals.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and external stakeholders to set the strategic vision and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Act as a problem solver, swiftly identifying challenges and implementing effective solutions to keep the project on track.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and safety standards while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Manage risk and change management processes, adapting plans as necessary to meet evolving project demands.
  • Maintain close communication with various departments, contractors, and third-party suppliers to ensure seamless execution.
  • Develop and report on project progress, performance metrics, and financial forecasts to senior leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Program Manager or Project Manager leading large, complex CAPEX projects, ideally within the energy or manufacturing sectors.
  • Strong background in renewable energy projects, with a deep understanding of hydrogen technologies and their application in industrial settings.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to drive solutions in high-pressure environments.
  • Demonstrated success in managing cross-functional teams and large budgets, with a track record of on-time, within-budget project delivery.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Relevant academic qualifications in Engineering, Business, or related fields.
