Property Broker, Paris - France
We are currently seeking a dynamic and motivated Property Broker to join our team in Paris. As a key member of our brokerage division, you will be responsible for managing property insurance placements, building client relationships, and ensuring the delivery of tailored solutions for property risks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique property insurance needs and providing expert advice.
- Risk Analysis: Assess clients' property portfolios and identify potential risks to recommend the most appropriate coverage solutions.
- Market Engagement: Negotiate and place property insurance contracts with underwriters, ensuring competitive terms and conditions that meet client requirements.
- Policy Management: Oversee the renewal process, ensuring policies are up to date and reflect any changes in clients' needs or risk profiles.
- Claims Support: Assist clients with claims processes, providing guidance and ensuring smooth communication between clients and insurers.
- Market Intelligence: Stay informed on market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks that could impact property insurance products.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including underwriting and claims, to ensure seamless service delivery to clients.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the property insurance sector.
Qualifications & Skills:
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a property broker or in a similar insurance/brokerage role.
- Strong knowledge of property insurance products, policies, and market trends.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Fluency in French and English is required; additional language skills are a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- A relevant insurance qualification (e.g., CII, LLM, or similar) is advantageous.
