JCW is currently working on behalf of a specialty carrier looking to add a temporary Reinsurance Contracts Counsel to their team. This will likely be a 3-6 month assignment that is FULLY REMOTE.
Responsibilities:
- Review, draft, and negotiate various contracts, including reinsurance agreements, program and third-party administrator agreements, software licensing, master services agreements, SOWs, NDAs, and IT vendor contracts.
- Provide legal support across underwriting, accounting, claims oversight, and other business functions, including litigation management and coverage analysis.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience within the insurance/reinsurance industry with a focus on P&C insurance products and contracts
- JD preferred
