Senior Oracle Middleware Administrator

JCW Search AG are currently working with a leading bank based in Geneva to recruit for a Senior Oracle Middleware Administrator on a full-time permanent basis. They are looking for some to work on a hybrid basis, with on-call work required when necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain Oracle Middleware Solutions (HTTP servers, Oracle WebLogic, ORDS) and Oracle/Apex databases.
• Implement and maintain Tomcat, Apache, JBoss servers, and conduct Linux (RHEL-based) administration.
• Manage networks, load balancing, and reverse proxies for system integrity.
• Collaborate with teams to implement solutions and resolve technical issues.
• Document procedures/configurations and train team members.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent, with 5+ years of experience in Oracle Fusion Middleware.
• Proficiency in Oracle HTTP servers, WebLogic, ORDS, and Apex databases.
• Experience with Tomcat, Apache, JBoss, and RHEL-based Linux administration.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle pressure.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proactive, able to manage multiple tasks/projects, and open to learning new technologies.
• Experience with IBM MQ Series, IBM ACE, containerized applications, and Oracle Financial Crime Solution is a plus.
• Proficiency in English; French & Spanish are a plus.
