Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Private Banker to join our prestigious team based in Geneva. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of private banking, with significant experience in managing high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals. This role requires expertise in international and European markets, a passion for delivering tailored wealth management solutions, and the ability to build and nurture long-term relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management:

Develop and manage a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) and ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs), primarily based in international and EU markets.

Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with clients, understanding their unique financial needs and objectives.

Provide bespoke wealth management solutions, including investment advice, estate planning, tax optimization, and portfolio structuring.
Wealth Management & Advisory:
Offer personalized financial advice based on in-depth market knowledge and tailored investment strategies.
Advise clients on portfolio diversification, alternative investments, and other financial strategies in line with their risk profiles and financial goals.
Stay abreast of international and EU market trends, regulations, and financial products to ensure clients receive the most up-to-date information and strategies.
New Business Development:
Identify new business opportunities within your network and through referrals to grow the bank’s client base.
Cultivate relationships with external partners, intermediaries, and advisors to enhance business development prospects.
Compliance & Risk Management:
Ensure that all client activities comply with relevant regulatory requirements, including Swiss and international standards, anti-money laundering (AML) protocols, and tax reporting obligations.
Monitor clients’ portfolios for risk and performance, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal returns in alignment with the client’s objectives.
Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with internal teams, including relationship managers, wealth planners, and investment specialists, to deliver a holistic service to clients.
Mentor and guide junior bankers or support staff within the team, ensuring the quality of service and client satisfaction remains at the highest standard.
Qualifications & Experience:

Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field (advanced degrees or professional certifications such as CFA, CFP, or equivalent are preferred).

Experience:

A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in private banking, wealth management, or financial advisory, with a strong focus on international and EU markets.

Proven track record of managing high-net-worth client portfolios and generating new business.
Market Expertise: Deep understanding of global financial markets, especially EU and international investment landscapes, regulatory frameworks, and tax structures.
Skills:
Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence C-suite executives and ultra-high-net-worth clients.
In-depth knowledge of investment products, asset classes, and financial strategies for wealth preservation and growth.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken (additional languages, particularly French or German, would be a plus).
