Technical Architect - Global Implementation Programme
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Architect to join a complex, global implementation programme on a 4-6 month contract basis.
This is a unique opportunity to play a critical role in designing and delivering cutting-edge technology solutions within a financial services organisation.
You will be working on a challenging project involving intricate Python coding, smart contract implementation, and integration with Vault core banking systems.
This role requires an understanding of loan origination and core banking processes, coupled with strong technical expertise and architectural design capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership to the development team, ensuring alignment with the overall architectural vision and project requirements.
Solution Design: Lead the detailed design of complex technical solutions, including system architecture, data models, API specifications, and security considerations.
Python Development: Contribute to the development of core components using Python, ensuring high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code.
Smart Contracts: Design and implement smart contracts to automate and secure financial transactions.
Vault Integration: Lead the integration with Vault core banking systems, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality.
Thought Machine Expertise: Leverage your knowledge of Thought Machine technology to optimize solution design and implementation.
Design Lifecycle Management: Participate in all phases of the design lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and support.
Stakeholder Management: Collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Skills and Experience:
Technical Architecture: Proven experience as a Technical Architect on large-scale, complex projects, preferably within the financial services industry.
Python Expertise: Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in developing high-performance and scalable applications.
Smart Contracts: Hands-on experience in designing and implementing smart contracts, ideally with knowledge of relevant platforms and frameworks.
Vault Core Banking: Solid understanding of Vault core banking systems, with experience in integration and customization.
Financial Services Knowledge: Familiarity with loan origination and core banking processes, including regulatory and compliance requirements.
Design Lifecycle: Experience in all phases of the design lifecycle, with a strong understanding of design principles and best practices.
Thought Machine Technology: Solid working experience with Thought Machine technology and its application in financial services.
Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Relevant certifications in architecture, cloud technologies, or financial services are a plus.
