Technical support Engineer Wind

My client, a leading renewable energy developer in Europe are seeking a Technical support engineer for their growing portfolio of onshore wind and solar in Germany.

The business has recently been acquired by private equity and already has over 7GW in pipeline. A great opportunity to join one of the fastest growing developers in Europe.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design and draft wind farm site layouts, access modifications, and other related documents.
• Estimate and track costs, aiming to reduce expenses through innovative design solutions.
• Collaborate closely with project teams to ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Quality standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and mitigate risks through design, ensuring project feasibility.
• Provide technical input to early-stage and pre-planning projects.
• Coordinate third-party technical services and procurement.
• Contribute to the improvement and development of design processes and procedures.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and vehicle tracking software.
• Broad knowledge of onshore wind development and construction processes.
• Meticulous, accurate, and detail-focused with an eye for precision.
• Strong awareness of CDM regulations.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and manage a demanding workload.
• Flexibility to travel throughout the UK.
• In-depth knowledge of transport and construction methods (desirable).
• Familiarity with wind farm BoP and TSA (desirable).
