We are working with a boutique Private Investments firm currently undergoing growth due to their demand in the Luxembourg market. They are looking for an Accountant on a permanent basis

Responsibilities:
– Bookkeeping for of all business transactions of our companies
– Being a contact person for our service providers
– Review and preparation of monthly bookkeeping and annual accounts according to Lux-GAAP
– Support in the context of IFRS consolidated financial statements
– Review and preparation of monthly / quarterly / annual preliminary VAT returns
– Maintenance and reconciliation of debtors & creditors
– Taking care of the dunning process and support in the optimisation of processes
– Payment of invoices and maintenance of bank contacts
– Support in liquidity planning and in the preparation and evaluation of statistics and reports
Your profile:
– 2-6 years of experience as an accountant, preferably in an international environment
– University education in Accounting or related field
– Very good knowledge of Lux-GAAP, IFRS is a plus
– Good knowledge of Sage BOB50 and MS Office (esp. Excel)
– Experience with filing VAT returns in Luxembourg
– Analytical thinking and solution driven approach
– Responsible and independent way of working, autonomous and as part of a team
– Strong team player
– Conscientious way of working
– Very good language skills in English – German and French considered an asset
– Valid EU work permit is required
