JCW is recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing specialty carrier looking to add an Underwriting Associate to their team in Charlotte NC. In this role, you'll help to manage accounts, ensure underwriting best practices, and collaborate with various teams to support business growth and strong underwriting performance
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with underwriting processes by reviewing data, analyzing files, and ensuring compliance with guidelines
- Evaluate performance metrics, including account trends, geographic distribution, and pricing
- Prepare detailed reports and insights for management
Qualifications & Skills:
- 1+ years of experience in an underwriting assistance/associate position
- Progress toward CPCU, AU, or CIC certification is a plus
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and PowerPoint
