The Role
As our Deputy Director of Project Management, you will lead the establishment of a high-performing project management team, overseeing complex projects while driving strategic business growth. This senior leadership role balances hands-on project delivery with high-level strategic input, contributing directly to the company’s expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Development:
Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing project management team.
Foster a collaborative, supportive, and results-focused team culture.
Project Delivery & Oversight:
Oversee the successful delivery of complex infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Act as a key decision-maker in project execution and contract management.
Operational Excellence:
Manage resources, budgets, and priorities effectively across multiple projects.
Drive continuous improvement, ensuring best practices in project methodologies and risk management.
Stakeholder Management:
Engage confidently with senior stakeholders, including clients, regulators, and contractors, to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
Act as a key representative for the business in industry forums and networking events.
What Were Looking For
We are seeking a confident, proactive leader with a passion for delivering exceptional infrastructure projects and building outstanding teams.
Essential Skills & Experience:
Proven experience building and managing high-performing project management teams.
Strong track record of successfully delivering complex infrastructure projects in sectors such as utilities, rail, energy/renewables, or highways.
Minimum of 8 years experience in project management, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
