The Production Directors role is grounded in partnering with some of the best voice over talent, studios and sound engineers in the target market where they are expanding the business and utilizing their skills to produce amazing sounding content across all the formats. You shall actively engage with the internal production team, voice over talent, sound engineers and studios both in-house and outsourced, to work on sound designs, optimizing production quality to create an immersive and compelling audio content. 

The Role:

• Lead and mentor a team of skilled producers and production leads to deliver top-quality shows that captivate listeners and maintain high retention rates.
• Conduct thorough analyses of show performance and conduct root cause analyses to address any decline in listenership during the show's lifecycle.
• Oversee the production schedule for new shows, including coordinating recording sessions, managing sound engineers, and overseeing post-production processes.
• Take charge of all aspects of audio production, from scheduling and recording to assembling, mixing, and publishing episodes for multiple shows.
• Collaborate closely with the content and creative teams to understand the content pipeline and effectively plan and allocate resources accordingly.
• Generate innovative ideas to enhance content quality and freshness, offering suggestions for sound design, production processes, and final output.
• Collaborate with Category Managers and Program Managers to effectively manage the profit and loss (P&L) for the category.

Qualifications:

• a minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience in TV, content creation, audio production, and programming.
• Demonstrates a passion and deep understanding of audio production, coupled with a knack for innovation and the ability to conceive successful shows.
• Previous involvement in scripted production is advantageous.
• Possesses a diverse portfolio of experience spanning various genres, program styles, and formats.
• Proven track record of effectively leading large production teams.
