We are currently working on behalf of a leading Global Private Bank in London for a critical leadership role within their Wealth division. This position involves overseeing the global quality assurance framework for regulatory reporting and client tax operations across multiple jurisdictions. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with complex financial regulations and tax laws while driving operational excellence. This role offers the opportunity to shape and lead a global QA team, collaborate with senior stakeholders, and work in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a global QA strategy for regulatory reporting and tax operations within the Wealth division.
- Ensure compliance with global regulatory requirements such as Dodd-Frank, EMIR, MiFID II, FATCA, and CRS.
- Build and lead a global quality assurance team, providing mentorship and managing performance.
- Establish robust governance, controls, and metrics to ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy.
- Partner with compliance, risk, legal, and operations teams to address QA issues and drive continuous improvement.
Experience Required
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; advanced certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA, FRM) are a plus.
- Extensive experience in regulatory reporting, QA, or compliance within the financial services industry, especially Wealth Management.
- Proven leadership skills, with experience managing large, cross-functional, and global teams.
- Strong knowledge of global financial regulations and tax requirements, particularly for wealth management products.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with proficiency in data analytics and QA tools.
