The project manager helps deliver transformation initiatives to support the strategic aim to increase effectiveness, efficiency and growth.

The project manager is responsible planning and overseeing the day-to-day management of multiple projects aligned to the strategic roadmap. The project manager delivers projects in-line with the internal project methodology and ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities

Help the business to define project scope, objectives, and requirements.
Prepare projects’ plans, schedules, budget, and resource requirements
Monitor progress to alert management and adjust plan where needed.
Actively track project costs to meet budget.
Identify, report, and monitor risks and issues on a timely manner.
Proactively adapt project management effort to project context [in agreement with management].
Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.
Report to management on a timely manner.

Qualification & Experience
Minimum 3 years overall experience with ideally a substantial percentage of experience obtained within financial services.
Minimum of 1 years’ experience within Project Management functions ideally in the Banking industry.
Experience across PMO function within different organisations and team structures would be an advantage.
Certification or exposure to standard project methodology Prince2 / PMP, APM, Agile, would be an advantage.
Knowledge of banking business / products / operations and IT system development life cycle.

Good presentation skills and effective communicator.
Good Stakeholder management.
Great problem-solving abilities.
Must have industry standards and methodology acumen.
Fluency in MS Office, Visio and ideally  MS Project
