My client, the world's leading open digital daily life services platform, is looking to hire a Senior Compliance Operations Manager in their Luxembourg office. 

Reporting into the EU Chief Compliance Officer in Luxembourg, the Senior Compliance Operations Manager is responsible for the development, implementation, and oversight of day-to-day operations and appropriate regulatory policies and procedures required to ensure that all regulatory requirements relevant to the firm operating as an Electronic Money Institution (“EMI”) are met.

Key accountabilities:

• Leading, and overseeing the activities of the Luxembourg operational compliance programme;

• Collaborating with the Legal team in interpreting new regulations and requirements and implementing the strategy to comply within the required regulatory timeframe;

• Ensuring proactive monitoring of compliance of overseas business units and individuals, providing operational or matrix type global support to Luxembourg.

• To serve as Chair of the Outsourcing Committee, working with the relevant senior business unit representatives to determine whether outsourced operations are working effectively and in compliance with local outsourcing obligations.

• Ensuring that there are clear policies, procedures and controls in place covering all regulated outsourced operational risks.

• Overseeing routine KPIs/SLAs reporting on outsourced activity in overseas operational business units from a compliance perspective and recommending any changes in relation to new regulatory obligations, or significant changes in product capability.


Experience required:

• 5+ years experience in a managing Compliance Operations role, including managerial experience with proven leadership skills

• Excellent understanding of the regulatory structure and requirements pertaining to the payments and e-money industry

• Fluent in English.
