JCW are currently working with a Swiss based re/insurance firm in the search for a Senior Pricing Actuary to be based in Zurich. 

For this position, we are searching for experienced candidates with the following background:

• Enthusiastic and forward-looking mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
• Good team player with the ability to communicate effectively
• Strong knowledge of Excel and programming languages (e.g. VBA, R, Python) is indispensable; ideally experience in designing of databases
• Minimum 3 years of experience in non-life treaty pricing; experience with CAT pricing or modelling is a plus
• University degree in a scientific/numerate discipline and – ideally completed – actuarial qualification (SAV, IFoA, CAS etc.)
• Language skills: very good command of English plus one additional language of global commercial importance (such as Spanish or Chinese) desired
• You enjoy making modern concepts available to colleagues in a pragmatic fashion and finding transparent ways to communicate your results
