Key Responsibilities:

2. Collaborate closely with brokers, agents, and clients to understand their needs, negotiate terms, and maintain strong relationships.

4. Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks, adapting underwriting practices accordingly.
5. Mentor and provide guidance to junior underwriters, fostering their professional development and growth within the organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Insurance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in property and casualty underwriting, demonstrating a track record of success.
• Fluent in German with proficient communication skills in English.
• Strong analytical abilities, with the capacity to assess complex risks and make sound underwriting decisions.
• Leadership qualities and a demonstrated potential to transition into a management role.
• Professional certifications such as CPCU, ACII, or equivalent are advantageous.
