What is the biggest problem your clients have when recruiting?
Finding the right candidate for the right job. Having a quick talk and sending the candidate is not my goal. I prefer to have an open conversation with candidates and try to understand what they want in their new job and if the position will enable them to achieve their goals. In the case that something is lacking I will send less candidates to my clients but knowing that both parties are a good match.
Filling position that requires specific background or experience, e.g., specific IT knowledge, financial or academic background. Not everybody posts their CV online and not everybody shares their background. I am ready to invest the time to reach out to many so I can find few who have the relevant skillset. Quantity and quality go hand in hand. Finding candidates with the market knowledge and solution-oriented thinking. This is something that is not learned in books. If I do not understand what people are doing daily, where the market is going and what are the latest trends, I can’t solve their problems. I must listen and ask the right questions to be successful.
